SCIENCE, Class X, Chapter - 13, Magnetic effects of electric current.
It consists of a hand driven pulley attached to the pulley of dynamo by means of a rubber belt. It generates both a.c & d.c current. The whole unit is mounted on a plastic base. Provided with two pairs of 4mm sockets. Supplied with two nos. of LEDs.
Suitable for demonstration of a DC motor, having a two pole armature wound with enamelled copper wire and a detachable permanent magnet (N-S indicated) mounted on a base. External connections via 4mm sockets.
Operating voltage : 4-6 V DC
Height : 125mm(approx.)

Observable components of motor. A variety of demonstrations can be performed on this basic apparatus e.g. Magnetic fields, D.C. Motors, series and shunt fields and generators. There is a two-pole D.C. Armature which can be connected to a mechanical device or to another motor for motor and generator demonstrations. Adjustable brushes for contact with commutators. White plated spring brass clamps, which shows the effects of pole separation, supports the two permanent bar magnets.
